To be accurate, she did not receive a Hugo for writing the series.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire received the 2001 Hugo for best novel, and not without controversy.
I certainly could be wrong, but I'd be surprised if that's the reason for the name, since she JKR received the award in absentia.
