Our first Rush Event is on move-in day. Our EC got permission from the ODU housing director to let our on-campus brothers move in early so that they could assist moving the freshmen and upperclassmen into the dorms.
We usually help folks move in and then have a barbeque right near the dorms and invite the folks we helped.
Other than that, just hitting the summer orientation fairs every week and getting names/phone numbers of potentials. We have somewhere around 120-150 names so far... so we've got a bit of calling to do.
