First of all, you are assuming that the request actually came from MTV. Unless, I had independent verification I wouldn't give them or anyone any info about me, etc. without authentication.
Second, MTV???? I'm sure your nationals would just love that. They would probably want their cams on the 2nd floor of the sorority house..lol. For sure they would want you in your pjs and for ya'll to have a pillow fight.
Personally, I think its some dude testing how gullible somebody might be.
