YOu guys this is what I wrote to my Sorority on the site:

Hi Sorors!
I hope everyone is well and having a great summer! I wanted to warn everyone to be cautious as to what is said on this site, because I was not asked to verify my membership. If I didn't have to verify then there is not telling who can sign up and say they are a soror. I just want to protect what is OURS, because it is a SERIOUS matter!

However, I just wanted to say hello and I love you all!

Today I got this from site admin:

Hi 1908Revelations,

We were notified of your post by concerned site members. I think you are misunderstanding our verification process.

FraternityLive and SororityLive are currently working with headquarters' to develop a plan for accurate member verification. Until we have member lists from HQs, we must verify members using alternate means, which involves a team of staff scouring campus Greek Life pages, national headquarters sites, chapter websites, facebook, myspace, etc. We also request further proof that you are a member before we verify when we are unsure.
When a member joins an existing chapter, it is up to that chapter's officers to verify the members, which is a guaranteed filter for non-members.

We understand that our verification process is not perfect but it is quite secure and will only be getting better. Therefore we would appreciate if you would remove your comment from the Alpha Kappa Alpha board as soon as you get a chance.

So....I replied

Hi Justin,

It is not as if I am saying that perps will be allowed access to anything sacred to Alpha Kappa Alpha, and should they happen upon something that will not make them a member of my sorority. I would like to know how my membership was verified? I am not on facebook, myspace, nor does my chapter have a website. I am almost certain that my corporate HQ did not converse with you about my membership.

Please do not think that I am trying to bash your site, but I vowed to protect Alpha Kappa Alpha and I am sure you understand about proctecting your organization.

Verifying by pictures means nothing to me. I can get a picture from anywhere!
