Some people think partying throughout the week then dragging yourself into church on Sunday is living the Christian life. However, they are truly uneducated. Many times throughout the Bible it talks against drunkeness, fornication-- both things greek life is known for. We're providing an alternative.
FYI, I've had many ops to join a D9 (NPHC) sorority.. being that both my mom and my aunt are in the greek system. I choose not to for the above reasons.
As for the Omicron-- yes, it looks exactly like an "o". The line inside of the theta makes it "different". And gets people asking... Again, I need not waste anymore time on this matter. There are more important things to do. But people who want to contribute to our mission and purpose will join Why so much talk about such a small org anyway if the people who are and see the truth. We are humble women, who love the Lord, AND who are providing a real alternative to "traditional" greek life. For God's grace we are growing each season. Our lines are getting longer. Praise Him!
getting riled up did not feel threatened?

Ya see I was going to be cool and just lay back in the cut and let this conversation go wherever it's going but the bold text is exactly what I have a problem with. Some people have the same things to say about the many church going hypocrites (some of which are in orgs like yours), so why feed into the stereotypes? I have no problem with anyone joining an organization of their choice; it can be the ABCD org for all I care but trying to promote yourself as the "alternative" to NPHC or other GLO's is the problem. We all know that there are "sinners" and "saints" lurking everywhere, in every organization and congregation but no one has the right to stereotype unfairly. If our orgs weren't for you...great but you will get no love on greekchat with a "holier than thou" attitude. If your org is so great, than let it speak for itself, no need to make comparisons and present yourself as the great "alternative." Just do you and let your good works and deeds speak for you. Putting other orgs down to lift yours up does nothing but make you and your org look bad. There are plenty of greeks on this board that are not members of NPHC, NPC, MGC, or any other popular greek council and they are able to get along just fine with everyone and they are accepted because they don't seek to put others down in order to lift themselves up. And lastly, I'm not really sure why you and others like you are on this board anyway since we're all a bunch of Heathens. We're all a bunch of Heathens yet you seek to follow after us and do what we do, right? And don't get me wrong, if I were you I would have defended my organization too but the "holier than thou" attitude...you could have left it out because it's a serious turn off. Now if you want to start over, welcome to greekchat.
