It's not exactly the same, but this whole thing reminds me that one episode of Punk'd when Brandy and Ray J get caught with "stolen diamonds" in their car and Brandy tells the black policeman "Come on, brotha, you've seen us on TV; you know we're good kids. You should have our backs more than this!"
