To Everyone -

Hey - it wouldn't hurt my feelings if a whole lotta the old stuff was deleted. But when things happen like the week that we had 2 posts about Phi Mu practically right next to each other on the front page, that's when I gotta question why we even have the *S* function - I'm not saying that word since it always gets me in trouble (hint: rhymes with lurch). There are still posts out there that were started by unregistered people intentionally to start flame wars (if you are new....and there is NOTHING wrong with being new, simply a preface to my statement...., here's a little history -- people used to could post without registering, so in essence we had a problem with *some* people posting stuff and then posting with different names to agree with themselves -- and we could always tell it was the same person because they "talked" the same way, and made the same grammatical errors and other stuff).

I still have not had any probs using the *S* - not to discount or deny the experiences of others who have had probs with it -- I personally have not -- like when I used it for Phi Mu, and it indeed showed the two posts that were talking about the same thing and posted within a day or two of each other. So if it is not working properly for some people, then maybe deleting some of the old stuff would be a good thing.

Of course, I for one, again my personal opinion, do not want to see threads such as "what is so-and-so chapter like on your campus" or my favorites "why do BGLO's step?" "Why do BGLO's have calls?" "Why do GLO's keep secrets?" "What do your letters mean?" and all the other 4 million posts that were popping up repeatedly.

Brief disclaimer: This is my personal opinion - that would be of me personally pertaining to my thoughts and feelings regarding the topic at hand. Please do not flame me or deem me to be worthless to you and the greek community at large because I actually have an opinion about something. If I shouldn't have this opinion, then please let me know what opinion I should have so as to not cause any more dissention among the GC family and friends.
