Usually if you know her well enough to know that she wouldn't fit, she knows she wouldn't fit too. Having a friends walk in can be a nice break from rushing people you don't know and are wracking your brain trying to think of something to say. And yes, sometimes you do know who is going to pledge where, but it's still exciting when it actually happens.
