This is a tough topic for me. I think it depends on the individual. For my sorority, some would say they were 'born' into it as they immediately took on the characteristics and traits of the general attitudes and personality of the organization once crossed. But others may not adopt the personality of the sorority, but may feel a wonderful connection to just the experience of going through intake, thus labeling themselves 'made'.
