Take time to build yourself up. Pledging and being an active takes a LOT of time, and if you couldn't hack going to school and having other responsibilities in HS, then how will you do it in college?

I agree. Wait a semester so they look at your college GPA. We automatically cut anyone below a 2.8 after first sets because we cannot initiate you without a 2.8. I don't know where your GPA is, but basically we wouldn't be able to consider the explanation -- just the number.
