I can sort of imagine why with school starting earlier and earlier that Michaels might want to make sure they have anything back-to-school fall related up by the end of the month because teachers will go back for pre-planning so early. But why in the world would they be looking all the way to Halloween and Christmas? Do think they have to start getting people in the mood with fall and winter decor so that they'll be ready to buy the fall and winter crafts come September or October and still have a shot at finishing them? I wonder what the peak selling season of Christmas themed needlework actually is.
