I think Drolefille hit it on the nail, if you take AP classes, you get x number of credits for them, but your grades aren't counted. So you can come in with 12 credits, but your GPA will be 0.00 at the start of the semester. At Wagner, we have deferred recruitment and fall recruitment is only for transfer students (as in students who transferred from another college or university, not students who came in with 15 AP credits from high school) and upperclassmen.
