For real though, the last guy I dated continually called me "Baby" and "Baby girl" even though I repeatedly asked him not to. I HATE THAT MESS!!! IMO, "baby girl" is what you call your daughter, not your equal. For heaven's sake, my dad and my man CANNOT have the same nickname for me. It's more the principle that anything. If you know I hate it and you can't respect my wish to be called by my name, what else are you not going to respect? It was a warning sign to me--one of many. He got cut from the team.
o.k. Then you and I have certain names we don't like to be called. You don't like to be called baby girl (if I were a woman I wouldn't either) and I don't like to be called what I mentioned previously.(pooh, bookie, mookie, boo, whatever, whatever, whatever) The fact of the matter is I HATE THAT SH... You broke up with the guy for calling you baby girl, and for not respecting your request, and I avoid women that use the names I don't like. I'm not calling YOU ghetto, but I sure as hell think those nick names are ghetto. Yup, those names are warning signs to me too. That's what I mean when I say certain items, words, backgrounds, ect send certain signals/warning signs.
