I definitely wasn't "ghetto" at that age. Besides, there was a story behind that, so it actually meant something. Therefore, I claim exemption.
For real though, the last guy I dated continually called me "Baby" and "Baby girl" even though I repeatedly asked him not to. I HATE THAT MESS!!!

IMO, "baby girl" is what you call your daughter, not your equal. For heaven's sake, my dad and my man
CANNOT have the same nickname for me. It's more the principle that anything. If you know I hate it and you can't respect my wish to be called by my name, what else are you not going to respect? It was a warning sign to me--one of many. He got cut from the team.
