Not at all similar, IMHO. Kappa was wearing, plain and simple, lingerie. Now, they looked great in the lingerie and the clip certainly held my attention, but it sure didn't counter any stereotypes about sorority girls. When I saw that bit, I wasn't thinking "What talented dancers they are!"
I don't mind telling you that I've danced on a university stage in lingerie, so I'm far from straightlaced about these matters in general. But I do agree that when you're representing a group that is supposedly NOT all about being hot booty and attracting frat guys, you ought to think about what messages you're sending. I got the message that being hot booty has a whole lot to do with being a Kappa at OSU.
