My mother is a teacher. And, about five to ten years ago she had a boy whose name was JPXXXVASRE. There is no way to pronounce it. His whole name is actually J-P-X-X-X-V-A-S-R-E. He had no last name. The teachers at the schools just ended up calling him JP Johnson because his mother's last name was Johnson.

When one of teachers asked his mother why she had given him such an "unusual" name, she said that she gave him the first initial of each of her close friends' names. Now, couldn't she have arranged them in some order that was pronounceable.

Shamefully, JP was in middle school reading at a second grade level. We all speculated that his name had something to do with it since that is normally the first thing children learn how to read and spell.
