I am very accident prone! My aunt and my grandmother claim that it's genetic because the two of them are also klutzy. I've had few broken toes and I broke my elbow about a year and half ago.
I tend to lose my footing a lot. It started when I was about 5. My family was in Hiroshima and there was a reflecting pond. I accidently fell in. My parents had to search for clothing to buy because the ones I was wearing were soaked and it was about 60 degrees outside. The problem was that my parents would have my grandmother ship clothes to us from the United States. The Japanese clothing did not fit me because the clothing there is made smaller due to the fact that the Japanese tend to be slightly shorter than Americans. My parents found me a pair of pants and shirt that, lengthwise, was perfect but, widthwise, it was way too big. My pants kept falling down the whole day. My dad has that on video; he seems to always want to show it to my boyfriends.
Then, when I was 13, I was at Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. There is a zoo at the top and you can feed the animals. I was at the deer exhibit. There was a fence then a moat of water and then the land for the deer. I leaned over the fence to throw the food but leaned too far. I went head first into the moat of water!!! A couple of people had to pull me to my safety. I had cuts and bruises all over my arms and legs that have left scars to this day! A constant reminder of my accident-prone self and my humiliation.
