In college I went skiing at Sugarbush in Vermont for free. One of my sorority sisters had a place up there, and at the time I was working for an outdoor/camping store that had a lift ticket program with a bunch of resorts, so I got a free lift ticket there. I have my own skis, so I didn't have to pay for rentals. I did have to pitch in for gas and food, but other than that it was free.
I also got a lot of free stuff working at that outdoor store, most notably a used bike. The guys in the bike shop fixed it up for me and let me have it.
