I have (usually because I'm developing it) and I know of several people who have. My UG chapter's intro is 2 minutes long with pictures of chapter members past from chartering to present. I tried to talk them out of an intro that long, but they wanted it to run for the entire song. I get e-mails all the time commenting on the intro, however, I don't recommend and intro that long.
