I go to Towson University, which is just outside of Baltimore, Maryland. There's just a little over 15,000 undergrads, and only 7% of men are in fraternities and 5.5% of women are in sororities, so that's just less than 1000 students that are a part of Greek life.
There are 8 NPC chapters (Alpha Xi Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Phi Mu, Kappa Delta, Phi Sigma Sigma, Zeta Tau Alpha, and Alpha Phi), 10 IFC chapters (Alpha Epsilon Pi, Delta Sigma Phi, Sigma Chi, Sigma Pi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Tau Kappa Epsilon, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Sigma Kappa, Pi Lamda Phi, and Zeta Beta Tau), 7 NPHC chapters (Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, Phi Beta Sigma, Sigma Gamma Rho, Zeta Phi Beta), and 3 UGC chapters (Alpha Nu Omega, Zeta Sigma Chi, and Sigma Lamda Gamma).
Even though we only make up a small population of the student body, Greeks are seen everywhere in campus life. There are many Greeks that are a part of Student Government, University Residence Government, Campus Activities Board, Orientation Leaders, Resident Assistants, etc.
