To piggy back on this, "I didn't know" is not an excuse (shouldn't be making those anyway
). All documents and manuals are available to all members. Purchase them. Read them. Refer to them OFTEN. Do not depend on your advisor(s) or other chapter members to tell you what's right and wrong. Unfortunately, not all of them are doing the right things and are leading you astray.
Each one, teach one.
Get to know your good sorors who are in alumnae chapter before you graduate, if possible. They are good resources and sounding boards.
