eta: Maybe I'm applying the mascara wrong. I apply it normally, bottom to top with a slight wiggle of the brush. 2 coats. Does Dior Show have a special trick I missed? I just don't understand why everyone else loves it and I am just not impressed. I'm weird like that I guess. |
I ordered the waterproof diorshow mascara late last night from Sephora so I'll give opinions when i get it.
I do that too though---two coats on the top lashes with a slight wiggle of the brush, and one coat on the bottom with a slight wiggle. I also use an eyelash curler before applying mascara and I make sure there are no clumps on the brush before I apply (otherwise the clumps end up on my lashes). I also like to slightly bend the brush when i take it out of the tube for the first time to help with the ease of the application. I do notice a difference in the look of my lashes when I use an eyelash curler first. I do have one of those eyelash comb thingies that came with a brush kit I bought but I havent used one of those in a long time, so I dont know if it would make much difference or not.
