The part about the sister singing off key hit me close to home too. During preference, the girl who was preffing me whispered in my ear that she was going to mouth the words because she didn't want to hurt my ears with her terrible voice!
Then the next year when I was an active, the song chair nicely asked me if I wouldn't mind doing the same thing as I was ruining the harmony in one of our slow songs. But you better believe I was one of the loudest voices out there when we were doing our cheers!
