People are going to make assumptions about you regardless and more so if you do become what you seek. The way you let the men in the chapter know what the real deal is you get to know them. They'll also be able to address the concerns you have much better than any of us here can.

Really, the members should have clearly explained what it is and what it is not because it's their program. And they should be correcting those who aren't clear. Explaining Delta G.E.M.S., Kappa League, Rhoers, et. al. as "Jr. Greek" organization not only gives the wrong impression, it's not accurate.
And the folks allowing them to have calls, line names and numbers need to be checked too.
