i am going to make my old TBS shirts into a quilt. I'm about 85% sure i have enough shirts to make a nice sized quilt. If not, i will sprinkle in a school shirt here or there or maybe an old band camp t-shirt... yes, i am a 28 year old woman and i said band camp t-shirt!
I have been thinking about doing it for a while but never actually started. This summer it will happen so this fall I'll have a cozy quilt to nap upon.

Last year I made 2 for our graduating hs sr. One consisted of all hs era activities from Scouts to clubs, teams, G School, Girls' State, Page Semester etc. The other were shirts from actual road races and invitationals. I found a batik fabric that was predominantly one of her hs colors for the hs quilt. I was lucky enough to find a women-running themed fabric for the race quilt. |
