I understand what both of you wrote as my Uncles unit was 2nd wave Omaha; he survived the war while many in his unit did not let alone the invasion.

My girlfriend and I spent this weekend up in MA and were taking in some Museums while on the way home. We were in Stockbridge when their parade started. Stockbridge's Main Street is still pure Old America; just as Norman Rockwell painted it so many years ago. Short parade but still very touching. I think every town up there had one today.
