Hey everybody. I am now a senior in college graduating 08. I am also currently an interest or PNM for a particular sorority. The problem is that I never really did my research and was sort of just pulled in by this org because I met them at a meet the greeks event at my school and since then i have been attending their events. I live in NYC, and its very hard to locate greeks. I want to do my research on sororities to make sure that the particular org that im an interest for already is the right org for me. Im not sure how to go about this. The org is a predominately black sorority and Im latina. Im not sure if I want a predominantly black sorority but i have always mostly hanged out with black people. I might want to join a latina sorority because it will in a way bring me closer to my culture and stuff. I was wondering if there's any black and latina sororities? or if theres is a black latina sororities, i guess which might be like a sorority for black latinas? idk im so confused and i want to find the right org for me. so please help! thanx.

NALFO (National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations) is an umbrella council for Latino Greek Letter Organizations. Mission Statement: The purpose of NALFO is to promote and foster positive interfraternal relations, communication, and development of all Latino Fraternal organizations through mutual respect, leadership, honesty, professionalism and education.

Established in 1998, NALFO has 23 member organizations from across the United States. We meet bi-annually for a Convention and to conduct Business Meetings.

The National Multicultural Greek Council, Incorporated (NMGC)

The National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC) is the umbrella council for Multicultural Greek Letter Organizations.

The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC)

National Panhellenic Conference, founded in 1902, is an umbrella organization for 26 inter/national women's fraternities and sororities. The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Incorporated (NPHC) is currently composed of nine (9) International Greek letter Sororities and Fraternities: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
