(I know, I know, I said the word pledge, and pledge is for furniture, blabedy, blah etc.) This was done for the NPC sororities' newest members, done between Bid Day and Initiation. It was a semi-formal event held in a ballroom of a hotel or country club. We were announced, given a rose and escorted across the floor by a fraternity or IFC officer. It was very elegant, and it was a special evening for all sororities. I still have the pics and program from my presentation!
Most of the probate shows for BGLOs take place on the yard in front of any and everyone and they involve stepping, chants, songs, etc. The "pledges/line" are all dressed alike. It's intense yet fun. You have all of your Big Sisters/Brothers from your chapter as well as from other chapters and anywhere else around you making sure you're coming correct and are tight.
