I was like 'huh?' at that point...I mean Lopez IS a very common Spanish surname and she was in Honduras, so that I was like, maybe it was a coincidence.

Though I did sit and think about her comment regarding the spirit accidentally killing the boy instead of her....my mom raised me with those beliefs of "La Muerte" (Death), always being near us and just waiting for our time; I think alot of her perceptions of death were influenced by the Hondurans she met, that's a very Indigenous-Catholic notion of death, thought it was interesting
