I'm so glad you found a home in Alpha Xi Delta; especially at Purdue, which is a very respected chapter of our Fraternity. Since the Alpha Eta chapter has just recently been reinstated, you can have a part in making it great again! One of my friends from high school is a Phi Sigma Kappa there and I'm always itching to visit, so maybe I'll meet you one day! Enjoy your new member period, it is the start of something truly great!
