Prices are always dropping as technology advances! I remember my parents spending $2,000 on that PI 166 for me!
This desktop Dell computer that I'm using now-- P3 733 is slightly outdated now and I got about a year and a half ago!
By the way, my Laptop was a Toshiba...Toshiba make GREAT laptops!
