We did this just within our chapter at meeting (faces were blacked out but you could still pretty much tell who was who) and warned that if these things didn't get cleaned up faces would be shown. It was pretty effective.
On a different note, I specifically remember girls from several different chapter friending me in the middle of rush and striking up conversations. And that was just in spring of 06!
