I knew some of the secrets had been exposed, but not all... but I'm not surprised... there's been enough anti-Masonic/anti-secret-society sentiment at various times in our history for it to have happened. In any case, I certainly wouldn't go sniffing around for it
And the idea of writing things down in code and passing things on primarily by word of mouth is certainly a good one... that way, you can't get at the secrets simply by picking up a book.
