We have to give symbols their meanings. If someone wants to sell a pin, that's great for them.

Now, I noticed that many brothers say "DON'T SELL THE PIN, IT IS HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT". Or that we must keep it within the fraternity because it is a symbol and a part of our history. There is a lot of effort to preserve our past within the fraternity except...

What if I told you that HQ is in possession of probably our most historical, important and significant items right now? What if I told you HQ is going to destroy a piece from our very first ritual? An object that was directly used for our very first initiation?

How would you react? What would be your thoughts on that?
Agreed. I am pro-keeping our historic items in the fraternity. I am also a realist. Items are going to get out, and get sold. If someone from another GLO gets it, big deal, especially when we are talking about a pin. If someone wants to sell it to another brother, they have a right too, especially if they bought it themselves. If we let our history live and die only with its members, come a few hundred years and god forbid LCA isint around anymore, I would prefer that some of our history is left on this earth for people to be aware of. My opinion.

I hope your joking about the last part.
