Just wondering, why do some GLOs not allow letters on "new" or "associate" members aka "pledges" and some do? The reasoning for us was that because they did not know the meaning behind the letters, they could not wear them until initiation. Is that the case for others or is there another reason? Also, I don't know any frats that do that, only sororities...except, well, maybe Phi Sigma Kappa? I think they had that rule....anyone?
