A pin is just that, a pin.

To me, he isn't selling a LXA pin, he's just selling a piece of metal with some jewels.

We have to give symbols their meanings. If someone wants to sell a pin, that's great for them.

Now, I noticed that many brothers say "DON'T SELL THE PIN, IT IS HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT". Or that we must keep it within the fraternity because it is a symbol and a part of our history. There is a lot of effort to preserve our past within the fraternity except...

What if I told you that HQ is in possession of probably our most historical, important and significant items right now? What if I told you HQ is going to destroy a piece from our very first ritual? An object that was directly used for our very first initiation?

How would you react? What would be your thoughts on that?
