i've been in your situation but the other way around....
on the weekend, my friend's apt. turns into the hang out. On friday and saturday nights there's at least 20 people there every weekend and a lot of us ususally spend the night there. we are those kids who make all the noise. i'm still in a dorm, so i don't have a huge problem with noise, just drunk sisters coming home and making a lot of noise in the middle of the night, but usually i'm with them.
anyways- at my friends apt. we've had the cops come sooooooooooo many times. while using our drunk logic one night, we decided we should invite the downstairs neighbors up to party with us. we thought that maybe they were just mad because they weren't having as much fun as us. it didn't really work and they declined the invite, but we tried.
just thought it was a fun story about noisy neighbors.
maybe you should say something to your landlord..........
