I do not have a man in my life right now (hey--maybe I will by Valentine's Day though
), so I am going to do something I have never done before but I know I deserve: pamper myself!! I'm going to give myself flowers and candy. One year a bunch of my single friends (guys and girls) got all dressed up and went out to dinner at a NICE restaraunt and had a bunch of fun. But many of those people are no longer single so I think I'm going to attempt to coordinate an all-girls thing this year. I have learned that in order for God to bring me the right man (or take me to him), I must learn to first love myself and get to a place (or at least begin the journey) to where I want to be spiritually, academically, emotionally, etc. etc. I know (NOW) that I don't need a man on my arm to validate my existence!!
I also want to do something nice for my Mom (who is also single), b/c she doesn't think I appreciate her sometimes
. I think I may take her out to dinner instead (or also)--my treat of course, just the two of us. That would be fun!!
