You're complaining that someone is fat? You're complaining that someone was bawling her eyes out? Maybe somebody did die. Did you ask? Or instead are you just all up in her business and spending way too much time monitoring the comings and goings of these people you don't even know.

If the noise bothers you that much, why not show some maturity and go up there and explain that you are bothered and ask if they could keep it down a little, within reason. Or, if you like, go up there and call your neighbor a "fat sorority beeotch" and see what happens.

I really think that you need to be mature about this and stop being so cruel and judgmental.

First off, I have nothing against fat people. I said this to differ her from her roommate-- this makes a difference when you LIVE UNDER THEM.

I wasn't complaining that she was bawling her eyes out. Read it again. I was really sorry for her and hoped it wasn't something major in her life. Did I ask? no. I was tempted to, but XYZ stopped talking to us and gave us dirty looks after we DID go up and tell her NICELY to turn her TV down.

Monitoring and complaining? it's kind of hard to ignore the stomping going on upstairs. Our entryways are made of hardwood and it makes a great deal of noise.

I think you need to ask your questions within reason- when you know the whole story plus note this story was told with "emotion"-- I'm sure it's never happened you.

Plus, if you are looking for "so cruel and judgmental" statements, check out that "things you want to say" thread. lol. I have a feeling if I had posted this in that thread, I wouldn't have gotten a negative reaction.
