For summer and fall it was XYZ fat sorority beeotch and her (non-greek) friend. We chose the bedroom below her "friend's" room cause she was a lightweight- hence less noise! The grievance with her was that she was on the phone all hours of the night in her horrible hick Southern drawl and most of the time we could hear her pretty clearly. If you thought that was bad-- after she would finish her conversation she would drop her phone on the floor!

XYZ fat sorority beeotch would have random guys over and we could hear them get it on Our apts have very limited parking and one of her "buddies" was in my space. I didn't know who's big ass red F150 truck it was then and I wasn't about to knock on everyone's door to find out (it was 11pm) So I called the towing company. It took about an hour for the tow truck to come-- but it eventually hauled off the red truck. The tow truck is horribly loud. Usually people can catch the tow truck loading the car on cause of the noise. XYZ sorority fat beeotch comes and knocks on the door in her PJ's asking about the tow company's number. Only then did I realize it was her "buddy's" truck and they were probably too "busy" to hear a darn thing outside!

About a week before finals (mid Dec), XYZ was bawling-- crying her eyes out. I mean I could hear her gut wrenching sobs too clearly. I dunno what happened-- maybe someone died? She went home and we only saw her one day of finals week.

XYZ moved out last Saturday, but we never saw her roommate move out. Then on Monday, we see her roommate and her mom (?) bringing stuff in. Plus her boyfriend comes and hammers stuff upstairs. I'm beginning to think her boyfriend moved in. At first we couldn't figure out if she was moving out-- but she and her stud have been here for the past two nights, so I guess she's staying Doesn't seem like the roommate has any classes-- and I seriously doubt her "older" looking boyfriend does either. In any case, they've chosen the bedroom above ours so we can hear them in every lovely moment

Anyone have noisy neighbors? It seems like we have thick walls (never really hear anyone next door), but a thin ceiling!
I don't know -- I don't mean to be rude, but I'm guessing that you could maybe be a little more tolerant and a little less judgmental. Okay, so you don't like fat people, people with accents, people who cry and people who hammer. Noisy neighbors can certainly be annoying, but your post seems rather cruel and insensitive. You're complaining that someone is fat? You're complaining that someone was bawling her eyes out? Maybe somebody did die. Did you ask? Or instead are you just all up in her business and spending way too much time monitoring the comings and goings of these people you don't even know.

If the noise bothers you that much, why not show some maturity and go up there and explain that you are bothered and ask if they could keep it down a little, within reason. Or, if you like, go up there and call your neighbor a "fat sorority beeotch" and see what happens.

I really think that you need to be mature about this and stop being so cruel and judgmental.
