I was at work on the 20th floor....3 blocks East from The Trade Center. My office shook when both planes hit the towers. My coworker and I saw the papers flying outside of our windows and thought there was a ticket tape parade....but knew that none of the NY teams had one anything. After the second plane hit is when we left our building and about 15 minutes later is when the first building collapsed.
We all (the four of us that are in the office) made it to our various homes safely...THANK YOU GOD!!!
Just remembering makes me tear up all the time.
An experience that I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET!!!
Fortunately to my Knowledge the Sorors and Frat that worked in the Towers and the immediate areas are all safe.
