That's sort of the NIC/NPC disconnect. Sorority members will seldom put in print that they think a chapter of one organization is better than another.

I think Sigma Nu just started a recolonization effort Mississippi State. Generally speaking, being in a colony is hard work. We're recolonizing every SEC chapter though, so I don't think they would have moved without some significant $$ to back them.

They won't be the biggest or win the most awards (if any) and I don't know what kind of guys they'll get (our consultants generally do a pretty good job) but the colony experience is pretty unique. I wouldn't trade it for standard pledging. But to each his own.
