I don't own a gun personally although I don't have an issue with people wanting to own them either for hunting, protection, or whatever. I do think there needs to be some limitations as to the kind of gun that are available for purchase/ownership because seriously - unless you're in law enforcement or the military why do you need an semi-automatic assault rifle?
It's certainly not a good hunting weapon.
