Technically no... I wont talk about piracy laws because I know thats not that you are referring to. The same basic standards apply to intellectual property.
I thought about it later here is why I wont post those particular files, specifically the illustrator files. The files still have individual layer for each image in the COA, ie. each quarter of the shield, the helmet the lines that make up the rays of light, everything. It would be real easy for someone to go and copy parts of our COA in the digital format and modify it unauthorized, I read the thread about that emo band that was using our COA. I personally wouldn't publish one of my works in that fashion without merging all of the layers so they couldn't be modified individually. Curiously, those images have been up for months to public view. I don't know why now it would be a problem.
I plan on making a canvas COA from one of those images. You have to remember that one of those, there were 3 or 4, will eventually be the "Official" COA. I would say 90% of the COA's i've seen are hand drawn, and custom made, they all vary. The point of the prototypes are to translate the original drawings color, to digital format. Did Cole and Mason MEAN to have that a certain shade of green? Is that supposed to be faded there? True to the original representation as possible in digital format. I do hope at some point when they decide on the new Official COA, they release the other candidates as well. They are all amazing reconstructions.
I will still send them to anyone who wants it as long as they are a known brother. The last thing I want to do is upset the guys working hard at HQ.
