Hey y'all, sorry for the delay here but I had to settle back in to SD. Winnieb, Tom and I went for lunch at the Country Club Plaza shopping center in Kansas City. We picked the Jack Stack restaurant so that I could taste some real KC BBQ!
It was pretty good I must say!
After chatting for a bit after lunch, Tom left to visit his Lambda Chi Alpha brothers at the university down the street. Wendi and I then took a casual stroll around the Plaza - a historic shopping center which is fashioned a bit after the architecture found in Seville, Spain. We stopped into a couple of shops and I bought some souvineers for my family. Our last stop was a quick look around Tiffanys - though, I did not buy anything.
After that, Wendi kindly dropped me off at the airport so that I could catch my flight home.
I just wanted to say thank you to Tom and Wendi for being such gracious hosts. I really appreciate you two taking an afternoon out to visit with me!
