I agree.
I don't go to VT obviously, but I could totally see on the news that when reporters were interviewing students, they were asking students questions as if they were trying to get them to place blame on the administration, which wasn't right. I'm sure the students don't blame VT at all for what happened.
It is very difficult to place a university on "lock down." There are no big doors that the administration can just SHUT to keep people from harm.
Some people are saying that classes should've been cancelled after the first incident. I personally don't think it would've made a difference. Let's say the university cancelled classes. The shooter was still on campus after the first incident. There still would've been people out who manybe didn't hear about cancellations. So there's no way to say that cancelling classes after the first shooting would've kept people from being shot.
