We have 10 girls (6 active and 4 pledges). Through much research, we are looking into affiliating with a NPC sorority for many reasons. Our school has a local NPC that governs the other NPC sororities that are here on campus already. They informed us that we need to attach a proposal to the Advisor for the NPC council on campus stating that our local sorority is interested in affiliating with a NPC sorority and our reasons for wanting to do so and they could present it to the NPC council here on campus. After that, the council would vote and let us know their decision. I was informed that previous chapters that were here but have went dormant should be given preference first and I received the list of ones that were here but are dormant. So we have decided on 2 that we would like to affiliate with and are going to present the idea to our members and then draft our proposal for the NPC council here on campus to review. For confidentiality purposes, I will not name the 2 we are interested in. After that, it's up to the National Headquarters to decide if they want to re-colonize their dormant chapters here at our university with our local sorority. I am just looking for assistance from others that have went about doing this and advice. I have done a lot of research myself and am very familiar with the extension process with the NPC. Thanks for your help and I look forward to your replies.

I am sure you will be alright in your presentation as you seem confident!
I wonder about the membership size? Will that be a hinderance? Of course a lot depends on the size of the school and fellow locals.
If it proceeds, it can do nothing but be a big boost for your group.
I also hope yu have been in contact with the NPC GLOs.
I wish to give you a good luck and a big pat on the back for wanting to and building a new group with a future!
