In hindsight, I should have realized that would be more offensive to others than it seemed to me. I apologize; I also deleted it. The comment stemmed from my frustration that society percieves it acceptable to label things such as groups [like GLO's], scholarships and opportunities "for non-whites only", while to do the same for the Caucasian race would be tantamount to declaring yourself a member of the Ku Klux Klan. However, if the Divine Nine wants to sponsor a BGLO's only event then they certainly can.
PM_Mama: On my campus, the GLO's not part of the 'Divine Nine' are referred to as "historically white organizations" because they are, well, historically filled with white people.
