Yeah, "settling his daddy's grudge" which was supported by most of the American people and a majority of Congress. We also had intelligence from agencies around the world who also believed there were WMD in Iraq, and it is basically undisputed that they were there at one time. It is a part of the war on terror because Iraq has undoubtedly harbored and protected terrorists. Even if we accept your statement that it wasn't (which is false) a part of the war on terror, it most certainly is now.
