Home training needs to be put on the endangered species list. So many people have no idea what manners are.
Ms. Silence, I have a friend just like yours. Somewhere along the line, she never learned how to behave like a lady in public. For me, what you do in your home is your business, but when you step outside, you need to behave properly. My friend curses all the time and she has no table manners. I love to go out to eat with my friends, but I can never bring her along. She chews with her mouth open and doesn't even know the correct way to hold a fork and knife. I just don't know where she gets her bad manners from because her mother and sister are perfect ladies when they go out.
My mother taught me and my sisters how to be ladies, not just women. She always said that our manners, or lack thereof, are reflections of her and she'll "be d#$%ed if I'll have people saying that my girls don't know how to act."
